Benesse House is a museum-hotel designed by Tadao Ando on the art island of Naoshima in the Seto Inland Sea. The building itself is a concrete masterpiece where contemporary art installations are woven into guest corridors, lobbies, and even bedrooms. Four distinct wings — Museum, Oval, Park, and Beach — each offer a different relationship with the island landscape. Guests have exclusive after-hours access to the museum galleries and can explore the island's other world-class art sites including Chichu Art Museum and the Art House Project.
